How do I plan for the travel expenses this season?

Today is December 25.

I am traveling from now but I have not planed my trip in detail, especially how much I am going to consume.

Currently, everywhere is under the COVID-19 situation so many places such as restaurants and amusement parks are putting their own COVID strategies on these terms(Christmas to New Year season). Some places are opened in a short time compared with before, others are temporarily closed.

That is why what we can do is narrowed. Whenever I trip, I estimate travel expenses because my trips are usually experienced base, for instance, activities, tours, visiting popular sightseeing places. It is not so difficult to calculate the expenses in advance. However, this time, it looks difficult to check them. Many places are likely not opened so what I pay for will be the FOOD mainly.

This is very difficult. Even though I check the restaurants I would go to before, my choices are changed easily, and I usually go to different restaurants or rather different places.

I wonder I decide how much money I consume for foods in advance or I do not estimate the expenses at all. The former is reasonable but not flexible, while the latter is flexible, I would be happy in that time, but I could feel regret spending so much money later.

Having said that, I have not traveled for a long time since COVID-19 started. I will be ok even if I consume lots of money this time... I am going.

Have a happy New Year!
