Hi there!
Today, I'm talking about why I'm planning to emigrate overseas in the future.
There may be many people like me, so I want to share with you.
THE REASON 1 | Got bored of living in my country.
I’m Japanese so I've lived in Japan ever since except for my study abroad in roughly 1 year.
My hometown is rural. very rural. when I was young, there were no places to play with my friends, like bowling and game centers, and so on. Although I went back to my hometown last month, there is still no places to play. haha. That's why I lived in a rural district most of my life, about 25 years or more.
While I have experience living in a rural district, I also have 3 years of experience living in an urban district. I currently live in Shinjuku, Tokyo, which is probably the biggest city in Japan. Tokyo is an extremely big city. There could be anything you want. You can buy what you want in 1 hour. anything! But for me, this lifestyle doesn't suit me so much because I don't have much material desire. The fact that I grew up in an environment surrounded by nature might lead me to this feeling.
In other words, I finally got bored of living in Japan. haha. I know I lived in just only a few parts of Japan and Japan is relatively safe at the moment. If I hadn't been abroad in my life, I would choose to stay here until the end of my life. But I have the experience to stay in some countries so I know how interesting to live in another country and speak with foreign people. (I've been to Australia, New Zealand, Korea, USA, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil so far.)
Also, there is much of nature in the world as well as Japan. BUT, the scale and atmosphere in the world are totally different from the one in Japan. World nature is so fantastic. So I think it's a great idea to move abroad. Life is gonna be long!
THE REASON 2 | My partner is foreigner
my partner is not from Japan so it won't be totally comfortable for her to stay in Japan regarding the language, rule... whatever. It's unfair to stay in only MY country for long. Good for me but not for her.
She also studies English so we both can speak English a bit. That's why we decided to move abroad together and share the difficulty of living in another country. I don't know if my partner really wants to leave Japan, though. haha
In my opinion, moving abroad with two people is more difficult than with one, only yourself, because anything can't be decided by one person and anything must be arranged for two people. These are the most challenging part of this plan.
Anyway, we just keep on preparing for moving. Although there must be lots of preparation I still haven't known, I won't give up. Maybe. haha
AND I hope to create the national community that people planning to move abroad participate in.
Next time, I'm talking about what I should do to move abroad and what is required to immigrate etc.
See you soon!
Thank you:)
